Khushwant S. Yadav is a Professor and Head, Rajeev Gandhi College of Pharmacy, Bhopal, India. After completing B.Pharm from Pune Univeristy he graduated with M.Pharm in Pharmaceutics from Berhampur University with Distinction in 2002. He then joined Andhra University and was involved in AICTE-TAPTEC Project (Dept. of Pharm. Sciences) under Prof. K. V. Raamana Murthy. Later he joined Claris Life Sciences, Ahemedabad and Alembic Ltd., Vadodara as Research Scientist and was involved in development of different types of drug delivery formulations. He then joined The M. S. University of Baroda, Vadodara for doing PhD in Pharmacy under the supervision of Prof. K. K. Sawant and worked on development of PLGA based Nanoparticles for targeting leukemia. Since 2010 Dr. Yadav is with Rajeev Gandhi College of Pharmacy and has recently completed a AICTE-RPS Project (2012-14) of Rs. 18,00,000/- grant on Hydrogels of anticancer drugs as principal investigator. He is Assistant Editor- Journal of Pharmaceutical Technology & Drug Research and on Editorial Board of more than 15 International Journals including, American Journal of Biomedical Engineering, Advances in Nanoparticles, Journal of Medical Research and Development, World Journal of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences. He is reviewer of Nanotechnology (IOP Science Pub.), International Journal of Nanomedicine (Dove Press), Drug Delivery (Informa Healthcare), Journal of Microencapsulation (Informa Healthcare), Recent Patents on Nanotechnology (Bentham Science Pub.) and DARU Journal of Pharmaceutical Sciences (BiomedCentral Pub) to name some. Dr. Yadav has 114 citations to his published articles with an h index of 6. His articles have been listed in Most-Read Article by Parenteral Drug Association, USA and Most-Viewed Article of the Year (Top 10) by AAPS, USA. He is recipient of Dr. J. C. Bose Scientist Award in Mar, 2013 and Best Poster award by Controlled Release Society- USA (IC) in Feb, 2012.
